The launch of the Service Welfare Digital Helpdesk & Support Portal at the 2nd Edition of the Permanent Secretary’s Quarterly Forum with Union Leaders in Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), provides Federal Civil Servants the ability to ask questions, and get answers to their most critical welfare issues. With this, Federal Civil Servants can submit complaints, ask questions, and provide feedback about the Federal Government’s Welfare programmes, and how it affects them.
At the launch, which took place on the 10th day of April, 2019, at Hosanna House, Wuse 2, Abuja, the Permanent Secretary, Service Welfare Office, Mrs Didi Walson-Jack, informedUnion Leaders that more attention is being given to the Welfare of Civil Servants because it is one sure way to improved and increased productivity. Mrs Didi Walson-Jack aid that the Federal Government, through her office, is working out modalities for achieving an improved welfare package.
Speaking on the importance of the Service Welfare Digital Helpdesk and Support Portal, Mrs Walson-Jack, said Federal Civil Servants now have a platform and medium to contribute to the formulation and implementation of welfare policies by providing inputs and feedback on Welfare initiatives of the as it affects them.
The Permanent Secretary encouraged the Union Leaders and Federal Civil Servants to take advantage of the opportunity to channel all questions and complaints via the Digital Helpdesk
and Support Portal.
The Service Welfare Digital Helpdesk & Support Portal was donated by Novateur Nigeria; an innovative ICT Service Provider in Abuja, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.
