    The Public Service Rules makes ample provision for the training and development of Civil Servants, with the aim of enhancing the officer’s performance, adding value to the Service and encouraging professionalism in the dispatch of their duties. For this purpose, officers may be allowed to undertake courses of study under the following broad types of Study Leave (PSR 100224):
